Peace On Earth

At the top of the week, early yesterday morning, the last of our troops left Iraq.

As we made our way to church to build on our spiritual strength and express our love for God on Sunday morning, we honored and reflected on the sacrifices that millions of men and women made for this war and prayed for them and their families.

On Sunday, December 18th – the war was brought to a responsible end.

There was Peace On Earth.

Words from our 44th President – “Today's outcome is a reminder that we all have a stake in our country's future, and a say in the
direction we choose.”

Make good choices, my son.  Walk in the right direction.

It's a beautiful week.  Despite anything we may be going through, remember the long time prayer that was answered yesterday.  Sing a joyful song and give thanks.  Peace on Earth!  Someone's son, father, sister, brother, daughter, mother, husband, and wife will be home for Christmas.

Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.

Living, Learning, laughing...and humbly giving praise,

Laterika
