Community involvement, the arts and culture are an organic part of my world. I have an amazing family. My son, Taj, 1 sis, 1 bro in law, 1 niece, 2 nephews, & a set of beautiful parents! Music, my next love is the messenger of souls, it’s the fragrance that clings to the hand that gives roses, it’s the universal language that makes our world cohesive. I believe in my community & its youth. I position myself to be heavily involved in shaping tomorrow’s leaders as so much of our future depends on them as well as empowering young women. Between reading great books, interesting blogs, beach days & finding ways to pay it forward, I take pleasure in the wonders of life. I believe in trusting your own vision. I believe everyone should stick to their own ideals in life & we should set our own patterns. I believe to give is to love. I believe in tranquility & compassion. I believe in individuality. Champion the right to be yourself. Even when you are certain of your path, always be open to the advice of others. We should never stop learning. We should never be afraid to laugh. That’s living!
